I have been trying to write a client using Borland C++ 5.2 running on W2000. The client needs to be text based not windows i.e. DOS!! (yeah yeah I know...but this is required to run on an older slower machine with a very large database). The problems are occuring at build time when I cannot seem to be able to link to the required libraries. I have previously built a client for MySQL in Linux using Gtk widgets which did not have any problems compiling and running.
This situation is becoming frustrating and I would dearly love some assistance. I am fluent in programming with C but not C++.
