I did get soimething working mysql command setup to lock tables with read
lock command.. works very well.

I use snapback it does the rolling restoration... works awesome it

Do a search on RPMFind.net and download libmysqlclient for the version of
your mysql. I had the same problem installing MYSQL support in
Qmail/Vpopmail
