Hi all,

I have a weird problem with MySQL 4.1 on a Debian stable system.

My application uses alot of 'INSERT DELAYED' and 'UPDATE LOW_PRIORITY' statements and every now and then a SQL statement (not a specific one) terminates with an error named 'Server shutdown in progress'.

The Server is NOT shut down and has an uptime for several weeks already not showing any problems.

I searched the web but could not find any useful hint for a shutdown where the server is still running. The keywords to search for are not very unique so it might be a hard to find posting somewhere.

Any ideas what the server wants to tell me with this error message and what can I do to solve this problem?
