Is this accurate? My understanding from the changelog in 4.0.18 was that DELAYED is only ignored when using:
INSERT DELAYED ... SELECT ... But not otherwise. So unless he's doing that, that portion shouldn't be an issue. If you have alternative information, please let me know. Thanks!
