Does anyone have an example of a dfb2mysql (contributed software) character conversion
file (-e)?
I need to know which format should be used when specifying the characters (octal, hex,
ascii etc).
Many thanks for any help!

Is anyone using the conversion file (-e) feature in Maarten Boekholds dbf2mysql
software (contributed)?
Exactly what should this file contain (i.e plain characters, ascii/hex codes, mysql
char, ??)?
Is there an example anywhere?
Many thanks for any help on this.

As will the urSQL Utility (MS Windows):
http://www.urbanresearch.com/ursql
urSQL can export query results in a variety of formats:
- HTML
- CSV
- Excel
- Word
- Text
Depending on your data, you might also be able to use the SELECT INTO
OUTFILE syntax:
select * into outfile "tableout.txt"
