Hi. Using mySQL v4.1.9 on Fedora Core 2, I'm suffering a shutdown everyday around 04:30. These are the contents of 'mysqld.log': ---- /usr/sbin/mysqld: ready for connections. At 04:30, my server makes the daily backup, by executing this command: ------ /usr/bin/mysqldump -h localhost -u root -pXXXXX --all-databases > /home/backup/mysql_databases.sql --------------- Can this command damage the mySQL server? Can I improve this command? -- MySQL General Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/mysql To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
