Greg, I checked on all my 2.6 systems and the library libcrypt_1.so.1 appears to be a Solaris 2.7 library only. I could not find a current version of mysql for Solaris 2.6. I'm in the process of compiling the latest version on my Solaris 2.6 machine. There is a version for 2.6 but it is listed as a 'Beta' version. We have tried it, but ran into problems with it, so I have to do it the hard way. Drop me a line later on today and I will let you know how things are going.
