Hello ,all I am developing an online store for a small or medium business. This is my degree project and I hope to turn it into something larger. A question came up. How can I organize this with MySQL/PHP/Apache for high availability? We had thoughts about a mirrored database. But then, how would you set up a hot swap? i.e. if the primary database fails, bring up the mirrored database? This is an interesting question in general. I would be grateful for any information or links.
