How do I set up Autoincrement in Access & MySQL? Please excuse the vagueness of this question, but I am getting the information 3rd-hand and don't have exact details. Apparently, using Mascon to add records to MySQL tables the autoincrement works. Using Access to add records to native Access tables it also works fine. But using Access and MyODBC to add records to MySQL tables, "sometimes" the autoincrement works and sometimes it doesn't. It MAY be working consistently on some tables but not on others. Apparently it has worked at least once on each table. What we are looking for is using Access as the client application hitting a remote MySQL database, but this problem is confusing us. Any advice, thoughts or comments please?
