Can't connect from remote computer

I can't connect to Mysql from a remote computer yet I can log in fine locally. When I telnet from a remote computer to port 3306, I get a response. The response wasn't meaningful but it was a response. Any ideas? Salama -- MySQL General Mailing List For list archives:
