I am using mysql 4.0 on linux and mm.mysql 2.0.11, however I can't access mysql from java application.
try { Class.forName( "org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver" ).newInstance(); Connection connection = DriverManager.getConnection ("jdbc:mysql://localhost/test?user=xxx&password=yyy" ); //or connection = DriverManager.getConnection ("jdbc:mysql://localhost/test", "xxx", "yyy" ); The error shows SQLException: Invalid authorization spectification. Access denied... Then I tried connection = DriverManager.getConnection ("jdbc:mysql:test", "xxx", "yyy" ); Now it shows SQLException: no suitable driver.. Does anybody know how to solve it? Thanks! I have no such problem on win platform, but it acts strange on linux. yp _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx --------------------------------------------------------------------- Before posting, please check: http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) To request this thread, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Trouble unsubscribing?
