Should have been:
grant CREATE TEMPORARY TABLES ...
and not
grant Create_tmp_table_priv ...

I hate to bother the list with what should be a simple question but I've been unable

to work or find anything on mysql.com or google.
I need to grant :
Create_tmp_table_priv
on a particular database.
As root (mysql user) I tried :
grant Create_tmp_table_priv on mydatabas
