Hello This is probably real simple for someone that knows - I'm having a few problems installing MySQL on a particular server (it's repairing a damaged copy). I'd like to try and fix it myself so I'm recompiling with the --with-debug option. If I manage to fix the problem, is there any overhead of having MySQL built with --with-debug? Or should I eventually recompile without --with-debug when the server is put into production?

Thankyou in advance- Jo
