Let me revise the problem description: Both mySQL Front *AND* JDBC can connect if I do not specify a password when logging in...EVEN IF A PASSWORD IS SPECIFIED IN THE ACCOUNT. Yet, if I specify the password while logging in (a scenario that SHOULD work), I am declined. Obviously I am a mySQL
