Hi folks I wrote an application which uses japanese characters. I can display japanese characters, fetching from a mysql database on my WindowsXP machine. I moved the same to a Linux machine and could see only junk characters.
Any suggestions? MySQL version 4.0.13 on Win XP Japanese MySQL version 4.0.14 on Linux English But the charset is set to latin1 on both installation. I used the mysql binary distribution. Do I need to change this. If so how?
