I have a Debian Linux server, and I would like to install MySQL on there.
Potentially to use it in a Cluster configuration, but for now, just as a

linux
platform.
I did the following.

I recomend you to use the pre-compiles binary
distribution. You won't have to build it and it worked
for me.
