I'm trying to install mysql on solaris 10, sparc. I'm using gcc 3.4.6.
I downloaded the source, and did the configure using the recommended:
CFLAGS="-O3" CXX=gcc CXXFLAGS="-O3 -felide-constructors \
-fno-exceptions -fno-rtti" ./configure \
--prefix=/usr/local/mysql

after passing ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/mysql,
I issued make Command, and got following Error

Hi,
I recomend you to use the pre-compiles binary
distribution. You won't have to build it and it worked

Bye and Good Luck.
