Hi list, As part of a server virtualization project, we are going to migrate MySQL from SPARC/Solaris 8 to AMD/x86 Solaris 10.
I seem to remember that it is possible to: - stop the SPARC server - move the mount point of the MySQL data directory to the Solaris/x86 server - start the AMD x86 server ...without running into architecture (little/big endian) issues. Am I right? Is this written out somewhere on dev.mysql.com?
