Is there a step by step startup for dummies out there anywhere? Or can someone help me with the following?
I am attempting to get started. I have run setup for MySQL 4.0.13 and MySQLCC 0.9.2 and am trying to initialize a server. I am running Windows 2000. Is there a naming convention? I have created the name using MySQLCC, it seems to accept, but then when I try to connect to the server I am told it cannot find it.
