Description: I've installed mysql on my linux 7.1 server (via RPMS) and it self-configured. It is now running however I can not connect to it. I keep getting the followingn error message: mysqladmin: connect to server 'localhost' failed error: 'Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: NO)' This occurs whether I am root or mysql (user).
