I have sorted out the root password.
Can anybody please help me find out why I can't connect to localhost.
since i tried to install and configure mysql.
I can't connect to apache server from other machines. It says
connection was refused when connecting localhost.
Any way of finding the problem

As ROOT on linux goto /etc
Edit my.cnf
Enter skip-grant-tables
Restart the mysql server
Change the password.
