Unfortunately, good intentions don't always produce alike results. How about if the bot replies to messages matching "newbie", "novice" and "beginner" in the subject? They most likely tend to be from beginners, and online manual and/or list archives are pretty much perfect solutions for their issue. I'll also make sure the replies are NOT posted to the list, insteat sent to the original sender.
