Hi Donna, Try this. That was the way i've installed Mysql on my server.
rpm -ivh MySQL-3.23.44-1.i386.rpm rpm -ivh MySQL-client-3.23.44-1.i386.rpm Please notice, that you have to use the RPM command 2 times.
