Hello, Clif. Some times such problems were solved by increasing variables responsible for memory usage. Also if you dig deeper in lists archives you may find a lot of succesfull solutions on similar problems. What exact version of MySQL do you use? In old versions there were several bugs

Everything was fine...I haven't installed anything lately, etc. I've got a Fedora FC1 system running MySQL v4. I noticed my db exports failing this morning. The db wasn't running and now won't startup. I'm googling but... Here's what's in the log: 41116 17:17:09 mysqld started 041116
