I just had my mysql server go down - the processes still appeared to 
be running, but were not accepting connections. The only entry in my 
hostname.err log was as follows...

010404 11:12:07 Aborted connection 555531 to db: 'unconnected'
user: 'root' host: `localhost' (Got an error writing communication ackets)

I do not have a database named 'unconnected' - does this message mean
anything to anyoone ?

I've restarted the server and all seems ok...
