Hi everybody, sorry in advance if this question has been posted many times before. We are running MYSQL 3.22 on SUSE Linux and planning an update to the latest 3.23-Release.My question now is, if there is a special update-procedure which keeps files like my.cnf or the privilege-tables untouched, or are these automatically overwritten, so that they have to be saved before. I would also appreciate help very much, if anyone knows of other tricky stuff that should be considered before updating. Thanks a lot for your help, Frank --------------------------------------------------------------------- Before posting, please check: http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) To request this thread, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Trouble unsubscribing?
