Hi;
I have run into 'potholes' with CMP beans on Sun's Java App Server 8.1.
While googling around I [think I] see that Sun's Server doesn't really 'like' mysql. (When it comes to CMP beans.) Question: Honest please! Is this supposed to work? (Nothing fancy, not even auto generated pk.)
What's the best class to use for the Connection pool?
I get weired errors when trying to deploy CMP beans that use mysql.
If not for my ide being Netbeans 4.1 (for now) I would continue using good old jBoss, but alas, NB 4.1 does not (yet) support jboss (although they have a pre-alpha project going for jboss, I would need to recompile all of Netbeans -not for me-).
Anyhow, I am forced to code on Sun's 8.1 RI. Can it swing with mysql?
Thank you all;
-nat
