Hello I just installed mysql 4.0.3-beta for innoDB 1.I deleted my existing mysql4.0.3, my.ini and my.cnf files 2.I created a new my.cnf file and copied to c:\winnt directory The contents being # Example mysql config file. # Copy this file to c:\my.cnf to set global options # # One can use all long options that the program supports. # Run the program with --help to get a list of available options

I did not receive any thing like InnoDB: The first specified datafile c:\ibdata\ibdata1 did not exist: InnoDB: a new database to be created! InnoDB: Setting file c:\ibdata\ibdata1 size to 209715200 -------------------------------- ----- as stated in the mysql manual Can somebody help me , what I am doing wrong?
