hi my site is hosted on a machine on which i am not root. so i don't have access to the mysql db. i'm quite sure that the admin on that server doesn't know how to do the security right. he gave my id almost root access on his mysql server so that i could access it. two three others have almost the same status. there are about 100 users in all.
now, the privileges have been fixed, but only for me afaik. is there a way i can find out which users have access to my db's? ie. the db's i have access to? 2nd question: if i did have the encypted version of someone's mysql password, how do i actually use it? google searches only explain the situation, not how it's done. coz i know those 3-4 ppl can see my encrypted passwd. (yes, 'mysql' db is viewable to them). ty abs ____________________________________________________________ Yahoo! Messenger - Communicate instantly..."Ping" your friends today!
