create database outside /mysql/data/

I installed Mysql on windows and found out that the documentation does not talk about installing the database in another directory or partition of the disk. Is it possible in Windows? I have little space left on the partition where progrxxxFiles/mysql/ is. THanks Laurie -- MySQL General
