Hi, 1. Anyone recommends a particular shutdown procedure for mysql database? 2. The reason: i)I get some weardy errors on NT4.0 workstation like memory referencing while doing the shutdown ii) Some times I get an error while shutting down the mysql server .Once I use "SHOW Databases" after the shutdown command the problems never occur. 3. I am not using mysql as an NTService and I installed mysql in 'D:/' drive. 4.
