Does anyone have an example of a dfb2mysql (contributed software)
character conversion file (-e)?
I need to know which format should be used when specifying the
characters (octal, hex, ascii etc).
Many thanks for any help!

Hi to all :)
I'm looking for the rpm of the great prog dbf2mysql version 1.14. I've
found a rpm of an older version (1.10) but that's not enough.
Anybody ?
thanx in advance ;)

I've just downloaded a version of dbf2mysql that supports fields of type
MEMO.
I was wondering if anyone knew how to use this as the readme doesn't tell
you?
Thanks,

I've read in the read-me that dbf2mysql doesn't handle memo files. Does this
mean that it won't work for any tables that include memo fields?

Is anyone using the conversion file (-e) feature in Maarten Boekholds dbf2mysql
software (contributed)?
Exactly what should this file contain (i.e plain characters, ascii/hex codes, mysql
char, ??)?
Is there an example anywhere?
Many thanks for any help on this.

Greetings!
Before I give any details of my problem...may I ask questions concerning
dbf2mysql here?
If the answer is no, where do I go? I sent email to maarten, but the
address was faulty.
Thanks for any help/suggestions.

am worried that if I try to import it again it will make duplicate records.
Another issue is that I have added an extra field to the table which is

I encountered a problem in creating the install file from dbf2mysql

run Linux Mandrake 7.2 Kernel 2.18.
Whe I run a make in the directory the following errormessage is reported :
