Subject: help! mysqld cannot start!
I have download the
Linux - Generic 2.6 (x86, 32-bit), Compressed TAR Archive
binary edition
and I installed it all followed the INSTALL_BINARY
but at last step I start

sudo bin/mysqld_safe --user=mysql
I got following error message
