Mysql' user account is not relate
it matters what you run the mysql client as
if I'm root
root: #> mysql -u foo -p
the program mysql is running as root and hense writes the history file to
root's home dir.
if I'm me
andrew: $> mysql -u foo -p
it'll write it to ~andrew/.mysql_history
