Stop the mysql server on the intranet and FTP the files in the MySQL data
directory to the MySQL data directory
$ mysqladmin -u -p create
and then
$ mysqldump -h -u -p | mysql
-h -u -p
or
$ mysqldump -h -u -p > dbdump.sql
$ mysql -u -p < dbdump.sql
