From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: mysql_install_db hanging with three mysqld processes >Description: I sent a mail last week with a problem with mysql_install_db hanging. I have followed all of the advice from previous posts with no luck. I have noticed that my situation is different since I have three mysqld processes being started. No one else has mentioned that. They are children of the previous one. I have tried a binary rpm, a source rpm and these binaries. Hopefully someone has an idea.
