If I start mysql by changing to the msyql directory and run safe_mysqld --user=mysql & everything works fine, if I try to start mysql at boot time with an init script it starts and immediately dies the log files say it can't find a certain library file (a file that is in my LD_LIBRARY_PATH). It has no problem starting if I wait till the server boots up completly and start it manually with the init script or with safe_mysqld
