Concerning my actual question to the group, I got the feeling that the function mysql_fetch_object is just not working correctly.
Is it possible that mysql_fetch_object is not working, if something gone wrong during compilation-time or if there's a wrong entry in any cnf-file (or php.ini)? I am still new to the whole thing and I am at my end. After six hours I did not get one idea.
