The recommended way to install MySQL on FreeBSD is to use ports collection.

Are you using binary distribution? Put the path to directory which
contains my_print_defaults to you $PATH variable, and check if the
problem still exists.

When installing mysql 5.0.16 on FreeBSD 5.3, after unpacking of the archive and
attempt to execute скрипт:
scripts/mysql_install_db
the system gives the mistake:
my_print_defaults: not found

Hi guys. I bought a script .And guys ,who make an installation on my data-base have a
problem with it.Installation is completed but My SQl can not read it.When I trying to

Please use our latest 1.7.5 static binary for Linux instead of RPM.
