Hi everyone, I'm trying to setup a mysql base upon a RH7.3 server. The mysql version is the 3.23.52. I'm trying to re-install it from the sources (as already did)... Mysql used to run, but i tried to install the perl::dbi and i did things that might not have done good to the thing... So I decided to go back, saved the DBs and re-install mysql.... But i'm facing the pbm when i try to assign the root passwd :
unable to change password; error: 'Table 'mysql.user' doesn't exist' What can I do ?... i searched the table but did not find it....
