Since going from 4.0.18 to 4.0.20 (or 4.0.19) I now receive these warnings
on startup:
040520 14:55:21 mysqld started

/usr/sbin/mysqld: ready for connections.
Version: '4.0.20-standard' socket: '/tmp/mysql.sock' port: 3306
I have this same problem on 4.1.1 as well.
