I have used the MySQL.OLEDB Provider, but haven't been able to get it to
work on anything except 'localhost'.
So, I use the OLEDB provider for ODBC drivers, and then use a MySQL DSN. I
did mail the people who built the provider
a month or two ago, but no response.

there performance improvements?
Are there any Win32 specific install/performance tweaks?
