Added the PPA and installed the lirc files but the remote for my PVR-350 still
does not work and I have lirc_dev consuming 100% of my CPU unless I uninstall
lirc from MCC and reboot.

The mythbuntu version of lucid lynx (10.04) says: "MythTV 0.23 build
24104 is included". That should say enough. Since mythtv 0.23 is not out
officially (beta 3 I see at the site) I'd say myth in ubuntu will be
updated once it is out.
