When I start livetv, picture is ok but OSD states that picture size is 720 x
576.
If I change channel, OSD displays
It also was a persistent problem in 0.23 as well, upgraded in hopes that
it was fixed.

I run an Ubuntu machine that's been updated several times from 9.04 up
to 10.04. Mythtv was added later when I was using v. 9.10 and was
somehow broken when updating to 10.04, so I had to rebuild it. I tried

Update: 2.6.35-23-generic does not fix this problem.
Here's the relevant section of the dmesg. If anyone working on this
would like to see any other log, let me know. This is with a Hauppauge
1800 PVR card. This happens as soon as the video capture is started in
