I wouldn't fiddle with MySQL as any upgrade would probably overwrite

..so IMHO as mythffmpeg (in Mythbuntu Updates) is not compiled with mp3,
xvid, mp4 support (as should be to be paired with ffmpeg+libavcodec-
extra-52), nuvexport gets broken. I have rebuilt mythtv 0.25 with those
options enabled but nuvexport is still broken, so I must have left
something behind.
It seems that 0.25 nuvexport uses mythffmpeg instead of ffmpeg so
invoking:
/usr/bin/mythffmpeg
shows:

Forgot mentioning that umask only works for creating files but not for copying
them from somewhere else (e.g. from a pendrive). So I think setting
permissions from udev should be involved.

both S2RAM, S2DISK (both states are reached but the former works once
only and the latter does not wake-up right).
Also are you sure "echo USB0 /proc/acpi/wakeup" has a proper syntax? I
would understand "echo USB0 > /proc/acp
Yes, I have it too. But IMHO hacking away basics it is not the proper
way of going for an issue like this in an (almost) out-of-the-box media

I did not need to delete .ICEauthority but I also succeeded in
generating a pair of DVD using LiveTV recordings.
When it comes to videos it depends: mytharchive seems to work fine with
some avis and mpegs but not with others thus spitting this IndexError.

Running Mythbuntu 9.10 (amd64):
- Autologin behaves randomly but when I have to manually login it never
takes more than three attempts.
- Using Intel graphics driver (GMA X4500), so no Nvidia exclusivity
here.
