Confirmed. My grub menu only contains entries for my two Windows boot partitions, nothing for Mythbuntu.

The installation itself is successful. Test: Downloaded and burned Mythbuntu i386 Desktop ISO to CD. Opened CD in Windows and selected to install MythBuntu. Rebooted to complete installation - everything seemed normal, until the end where I saw an error popup (already reported as bug 759454) After the computer restarted, I selected Ubuntu and the grub menu appeared, but didn't contain any entries for the Mythbuntu install. (Just Windows and another ubuntu install already present). I dropped to a command prompt and booted Mythbuntu manually: linux /vmlinuz root=/dev/sda2 loop=/ubuntu/disks/root.disk ro quiet splash initrd /initrd.img boot Then I confirmed that lupin-support had not been installed. After installing the package it added entries for Mythbuntu and then after that it booted successfully. sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install lupin-support This has also been reported in 10.10 Mythbuntu Wubi installs. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~mythbuntu-bugs Post to : mythbuntu-bugs@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~mythbuntu-bugs More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
