Mythbuntu, but it needs to be closed for a number of reasons. The
biggest one is that upstream has moved on to a new version and believes
this to be fixed. Could you please verify if this issue still exists in

I don't know if this applies as a confirmation but since upgrading to
natty the xfce hidden panel thin bar appears on top of the MythTV GUI. I
must hover the pointer over it to make it dissappear. BTW I do not use
compiz.

I can confirm that I can still see the problem under 10.04. Using auto-
hide for the menu isn't really a fix as there are other side effects.

This affects 10.04 as well, with the same workaround (panel hiding)
