I should have mentioned--that's with 7063.

Well, I have now learned that I can edit the jobqueue table to get the result
I want, but it doesn't seem like the JobsRunOnRecordHost setting does what is

assume it should be set to 1?

Hi again.
There has been some heavy debate on the video4linux mailinglist about
deprecating V4L1 entirely and dropping the v4l1-compat module, maybe as soon
as at the end of this year. It is not etched in stone at this point, but
should this happen, how would it affect MythTV? I see some V4L2 h
The DVB code in SVN will now switch everyone over to record in TS
format, since that has proven to have far less problems than the old PS
format.
If this change causes problems for anyone you need to file a bug report
about it so we can get it fixed. As a workaround you can go back to PS
form

With regard to Mythmusic, I agree, it is rather lacking in the area of
selecting tracks to play. I, like you, have my MP3's sorted in real
folders sorted by genre, year etc. The current method is useless for
this type of layout. Also playlists require a overhaul with importing
of m3u playlists
I'm going to reply to myself here

Hello.
Today I tried out mythmusic for the first time, and I just felt for
writing here and just tell of my spontaneous ideas for improvements.
I'll probably look into implementing these improvements, but first I
wanted to get some feedback for them. It would be great to get some
feedback about th

Hi,
In SVN from 15 Aug a change of channel to a channel
with no transmission will create an infinite loop.
Here from the log:

Hi all.
I have recently looked over all the settings I can find in both mythtv-setup
and the general frontend editable settings to see how I could force only the
recording backend to process jobs since apparently nothing else works
presently. I though I had found it with the 'Run jobs only on o

Hi,
I had the same error with my DVD-T Card. The Master Backend crashed
while recording or watching PS or TS Streams. I gone back to 7020 and
that fixed the problem.

I have an HD-2000 card using the DVB driver with kernel 2.6.12.2. I had
it configured with recent subversion, and it worked correctly.
I had some junk in the database from my previous configuration using the
Video4Linux drivers, so I deleted a bunch of channels and transports

I recently tried running mythmusic over a large collection of WMA files,
and it eats a lot of memory. Root cause is probably this:

Current svn (revision 7049) still gives me the same error:

dbox2recorder.cpp:26: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported
only once
for each function it appears in.)

Hi,
I know that you all are trying to minimize external dependencies in
MythTV, but I have to point out that goom is rather tiresome in the
long run :-) and that the libvisual library does provide a large
number of visualisations.
