Well, I thought that it was pretty odd,
hence the question. My last install of Myth was from svn the only problem was
the preview was all discolored. I know that there is the possibly of problems
and I could not find anything about the problem so I joined the list and asked.

After lots of help from Cory and Paul, here is a new version of mpeg2parse:

It now supports discontiuous PTS, though if an audio frame gets
dropped and the video frame is present, the result may be an A/V
desync. I haven't seen this happen yet though.

months. After I got everything compiled I ran across an odd issue. I can run
mythtv from the command line and watch live TV. In fact the about three second
delay is now gone and there is no more pre-buffering pauses at the start of

record TV programs based on user-defined preferences.
The code to search for suitable shows is pretty much complete. I now
