OK, maybe I sent everyone on a wild goose chase. Somebody tell me if
this makes sense:

fine.
- Watch memory and it grows to almost max, but mythfrontend doesn't

- Stop movie and memory returns to normal.

Forgot to mention this: yes, I have about a gig of swap drive setup on

Here's some additional data. Actually, I don't see mythbackend or

I'm having a problem with mythfrontend freezing, well, actually it locks

Yes, it needs firmware (and it's not that obvious). The manual way to

Thanks for the replies.
John at Netdirect - I was talking about the "Use PVR250/350 output" in

Uuuhh, this may be way off target, but you may want to consider this:

- ivtv 0.3 is generally considered bleeding edge, you may want to
consider 0.2x

I just took a quick look to see what that error was about. Here's what

know how to fix it?

No, hardware wouldn't be my first guess, but, I've seen lots of posts

I don't have this problem and I'm no expert, but you asked, so:
1. It's probably related to frame buffers or video drivers for your
specific board.
2. I have friends that claim linux can't be locked up unless you're
doing something with frame buffers.
3. I've seen various posts from earlier ve

I did this patch several weeks ago and made all the mistakes. I ended
up rebuilding the kernel and all the modules. However, somebody

1- Locate your existing tuner.o file and write it down.

I seem to recall something about the black and white thing. If you

would do this. But I have to admit, I'm not sure how you would get that

I've no clue what your problem is, but I did some poking around (it
sounded interesting). Here's what I found:

- It should be compatible with V4L (video for linux)
